Each of us, at some point, has found herself shaken on her professional life path.
We thought the plan established for our career, starting from “A” and reaching “Z”, was unshakeable.
Yet what can we do when the divine plan reminds us that, despite our careful planning and meticulous frameworks, we do not control the unexpected events revealed by destiny?
These unforeseen events, arriving suddenly and unexpectedly, lead to changes in our pre-established model. This is what we call change.
Change is an unavoidable factor in entrepreneurship.
Every transformation, even a positive one, unsettles women project leaders. Change confronts our paradigm, meaning our deeply rooted habits, our identity and even our professional imprint. Yet it is not the evolution itself that disrupts us, but rather the emotion attached to it.
When the brain detects a process of change, individuals begin to question what this change will bring and what resources they will need to mobilize in response. If the brain identifies more difficulty than benefit, resistance appears. This resistance is linked to fear of the unknown, and to the comfort of remaining in what we are and what we already know.
But what if change were an opportunity?
An opportunity to reveal another facet of our personality, to bring forth new skills and unsuspected talents, and to redirect ourselves toward our deepest aspirations.
What if it were precisely through discomfort, confusion and lack of control that we found the renewal capable of bringing energy and motivation, allowing us to ensure lasting success without wearing ourselves out?
To achieve this, change requires introspection in favor of self-knowledge…
